Believe

In John 11, Jesus meets people in the middle of fear, frustration, and grief and makes a bold declaration: “I am the resurrection and the life.” This message shows that the resurrection isn’t just something that saves us someday—it sustains us right now. Through Thomas’ fear, Martha’s frustration, and Mary’s sorrow, we see that Jesus doesn’t wait for us to have it all together before He moves; instead, He invites us to trust Him right in the middle of our struggles. His delays don’t mean He doesn’t care, and our emotions don’t push Him away—they draw Him closer. Ultimately, the call is simple but powerful: not to fix everything ourselves, but to believe in Him and trust that He is working, even when we can’t see it.
