The Great High Priest

Oct 5, 2025    Matt Santen

This sermon invites us to take an honest look at how we respond when we sin and what that says about how we see God. Through Hebrews 4:14-16, we see Jesus as our great High Priest—the one who not only sacrificed Himself for our sins but also deeply understands our weaknesses. When we fall short, we don’t have to hide, justify, or run away. Instead, we’re invited to draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, where mercy and forgiveness meet us. Because Jesus gets us—our struggles, our temptations, and our pain—we can come honestly before Him, knowing that grace is always waiting.
