Discover Jesus

This message launches the Draw Near series by showing that the first step to drawing near to God is discovering more of Jesus. Hebrews 1 reveals that Jesus is the Creator, the exact imprint of God, greater than angels, and the one who purified our sins once and for all. Unlike prophets or spiritual substitutes, Jesus speaks with full authority, sustains the universe by His power, and now sits at the right hand of the Father because His work is finished. The challenge is clear: nothing else—whether money, family, careers, or even angels—can take the place of Christ. To draw near, we must place our faith in Him alone, the one who makes us clean and invites us into God’s presence.
